Potter and designer, Jonathan Adler creates luxe and quirky additions to the home.

This talented man started modestly with a collection of pots, which were snapped up by one of the world’s most fashion forward department stores in 1993, Barneys. He had his own store in New York’s famed Soho five years later and is now in over 1,000 locations around the world. He’s an unstoppable force.

Glamorous and slyly suggestive, the Brass Banana is a gilded tribute to sculptural surrealism. Added oomph comes from its blown up proportions and hand-polished twinkle. Perched atop a marble base, it’s a perfect touch of eccentric glamour.

Each piece in the collection of brass bibelots is designed and sculpted by Jonathan and his team in our Soho studio. Next, it’s cast in solid brass and polished to perfection by hand.

Like a fine wine or your favorite leather jacket, the brass only gets better with age. Over time, the polished brass will develop a rich natural patina. If desired, use a microfiber cloth to buff out fingerprints. If you have no patience for patina, use a brass polish.
